Suspense
Suspense is defined as: A feeling of uncertainty and anxiety about the outcome of certain actions, most often referring to an audience's perceptions in a dramatic work.
An example of suspense is demonstrated in the film Sabotage by Alfred Hitchcock. It displays suspense because, We as the audience are aware of the kind of danger that the boy Stevie is actually in. Because of this we as the audience are in suspense - this is because we know that what he is delivering is in fact a bomb. We are also anxious to see what would happen. If he will deliver it in time or if he wont survive.
